The Preble County Farm Bureau and Preble County Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host a Meet the Candidates event to allow the public to learn more about the candidates for State Representative for the 43rd House District of Ohio.
The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, in the new Expo Expansion at the Preble County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with introductions beginning at 7 p.m.
Candidates Dan Foley, Democrat, and J. Todd Smith, Republican, will participate.
The event will be moderated by Darke County’s Matt Aultman, and questions will be facilitated by representatives of the PC Farm Bureau Board and PC Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
This event is designed to give the citizens of Preble and Montgomery counties the opportunity to meet and listen to the candidates for the 43rd House District. It is to establish a connection between candidates and constituents, allow voters to make informed decisions on Election Day, and give the candidates an opportunity to present their platforms and make a case for why they are the best candidate to represent the district.
