History
The roots of the I-70/75 Development Association go back to early 1987 when representatives of six communities met and realized there was more to gain from cooperation than competition. In 1988 the “North I-70/75 Development Association” was incorporated, with members from 11 communities.By 1992, membership had expanded to 80 including many communities outside the northern part of the Dayton region, as well as professionals from nonprofit economic development organizations. In 1993, “North” was dropped from the name.
Today our membership has expanded to approximately 100 organizations with 125 members.
